1. Second Star Mansion | Homer, Alaska

The Second Star Mansion is by far the most magical place I have ever DJ'd in Alaska.

With over 17,000 square feet of space, it is large enough to house guests, entertain children (the Peter Pan themed room is remarkable!), and it provides the wedding party the space and option of going inside in the event bad weather. The drive is long but well worth the view and amenities. The mansion overlooks Kachemak Bay and If I could marry my spouse again, I would choose this mansion as our venue.

2. Crowcreek Mine | Girdwood, Alaska

If you want to get married in a location that isn't too far outside of anchorage, but far enough to feel like a destination wedding, the crowcreek mine is your place. It has a rustic feel and has enough space to entertain guests. The staff at crowcreek mine are friendly, warm, and they are open to educating guests on the historical significance of the mine. If you choose this venue, remember you'll need to rent tents and a  dance floor. Oh and bring a little bug spray for your guests, too.

3. Windsong Lodge, Seward, Alaska

The Windsong Lodge is my favorite spot to DJ in Seward Alaska because of it's proximity to exit glacier, great fishing, and the acoustics in the dance area of the lodge. I have DJ'd at the Windsong on a number of occasions and the staff there are always helpful and kind. The wrap-around deck provides a nice area for guests to enjoy cocktails and a view before the event begins and the large lawn is perfect for an outdoor ceremony.
